I got a terrible cold that knocked me out of any exercise for ten full days. Ten days doesn’t sound like that much, I admit, but it really set me back. Not only was it harder to get myself back to the gym, once I got there it was harder to keep up with where I was at the week earlier.


I went back for the first time last night and just generally felt sluggish. I struggled through a 15-minute run on the treadmill and then felt weak and defeated for a 45-minute strength training class. Besides that, I was still a little stuffy so I was embarrassed both by my poor performance and my disgusting soundscape.


It is just really disappointing, but I’ll get back to it.
